The Aplington Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is a
non-profit, community-focused corporation that advances the
economic growth and business climate of Aplington. The AEDC
works to encourage and assist new and existing businesses.
It also works to support population growth through improved
housing and employment opportunities within the Aplington
area. |

The AEDC strives to create a more positive environment in the
community. To promote sound economic growth within the city of
Aplington, the AEDC focuses on attracting new businesses or recruitment
of industry to the area. The incentives available through T.I.F.
(tax increment financing) are: tax rebates, low interest loans,
no interest loans, forgivable loans and grants. State programs
are also available such as CDBG, EDSA, CEBA, etc. To find out
